For Scott Murphy supporters in upstate New York, today is the beginning of the final Get Out The Vote push for next Tuesday's special election.

On Tuesday, Barack continued what has become an Election Day tradition (if not outright superstition) -- a pick-up game of basketball, this time on Chicago's West Side.

The 2000 presidential election ended in a legal battle in Florida that kept the country on edge for days and ultimately ended with the Democrats losing the White House. There were charges of vote irregularity, faulty voting machines and even voter intimidation.
