Uncle Sam Wants "You"

Even the AP can't help but have some fun with the newly in-effect federal Plain Language Act.
But they point out an interesting new preferred usage: "In one striking change, the government is becoming 'we' and citizens are becoming 'you.'" Baby steps, perhaps. But you could see how it might be quicker and easier to build online interactions around "you" and "us" instead of "individuals and organizations wishing to engage with the Department of Yadda..."
