Twitter Eggs Against Syria

"Twitter eggs" and other bots are tweeting away in an attempt to drown out posts on the Syrian protests, notes Anas Qtiesh over on Global Voices.

In case Twitter eggs is a new one on you too, it refers to Twitter accounts where no profile photo has been uploaded; the default image is, well, an egg. It's a hint that the account might have been created simply to cause a ruckus.
