Is this really bad corporate social media behavior? Or an overheated enforecement by the Twitter police of unformed norms? After pushback, the folks behind Microsoft's Bing apologized for offering to contribute up to $100,000 to Japan relief, a buck at a time, for retweets of a link to Microsoft's corporate responsibility page. One commenter on ClickZ: "Christ, it's Motrin Moms all over again."
