Tennessee state legislators are reacting to Gov. Bill Haslam's recent decision to slash nine out of ten recipients of a daily early-morning news roundup by distributing the news themselves, the Associated Press reports.
The Associated Press reports that text of the round-up, compiled by Haslam staffers and emailed out to recipients every morning, is now appearing on the state Senate Democratic Caucus' Facebook page, and a spokesman for the Republican speaker of the state Senate linked to the document on Twitter.
