  • White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs apologizes for letting Andrew Breitbart and Fox News dictate the hiring and firing decisions of the executive branch: "Without a doubt, Miss Sherrod is owed an apology. I would do so on behalf of this administration."
  • Minnesota Republican Rep. Michelle Bachmann is declared "one of the first Internet rock stars" for her fundraising chops.
  • The people whose jobs it is to screen what gets posted to YouTube sign one for tours of duty lasting only a year, and they get counseling to help them cope with that comes across their screens.
  • Archives.gov crowdsources its own redesign. The votes are in, and "Design C will be used to proceed, with minor modifications based on usability testing and user feedback."
  • And let it never be said about the Vice President of the United States that he can't take a joke. Joe Biden, cleaning up his language slightly from his comments at the signing of the health care reform package, sends along a note on financial reform to the White House email list that carries the subject, "Another Big Deal."
