Our guy Stas, from ChristopherDoddQuest.com: "Christopher Dodd was on Comedy Central’s Daily Show with Jon Stewart. I watched Senator Dodd’s preparation for the show. I rather liked his humor in saying that his polling numbers are competing with the margin of error. Another great point Dodd made was that Bill Clinton and John Kerry had equally low poll numbers even later in their campaigns.
When Chris Dodd finally reached Stewart’s desk, he got the usual reception. Stewart, implying that Dodd wasn’t a candidate, asked him for some advice for Clinton and Obama. Dodd’s response was, “take a long vacation.” All in all, Dodd handled himself very well and got some of his message out. Let’s hope he doesn’t suffer the same fate as Vilsack, dropping out 2 weeks after his Daily Show appearance. Stewart did make Dodd promise to return after he dropped out of the race."

Ask anyone I know and they'll tell you that I abhor Comedy Central's Daily Show with Jon Stewart. He's just too, too, too out there for me. I'm much more of a Stephen Colbert fan.

But Dodd kinda stunk it up
Stewart was kind a jerk to Dodd... he kept asking him when he was going to drop out of the race. The whole think was kind of an embarassment for Dodd. But hey, I guess he gets points for showing up.
