Standing on that Stage

Dear Friend,

Standing on that stage tonight in front of 20,000 Democrats unified behind Senator Obama, I saw a bright future for America. I saw millions of people across the country working as one to elect the next Democratic President. I saw a new President and a new Congress giving a voice to the voiceless. I saw America, the land of endless potential, regaining its role as a leader in the world.

I couldn't be prouder of our party, of our nominee, and of all the work you and I have done together over the course of this campaign on behalf of the American people.

Day 2 of the Convention

This afternoon Katie and I went to the EMILY's List Gala. It was a truly amazing event as we watched women come together to inspire,  motivate and unite. Standing in a room of thousands it was so moving to see women of all ages come together to stand strong, to elect Senator Obama president and to also work hard to elect progressive pro-choice Democratic women to office around the country. This was truly a memorable event here in Denver.

Day 1 of the Convention

Getting up bright and early this morning in Denver, Katie Dowd, the Internet Director for Senator Clinton, and I were excited to get right to work. We joined Senator Clinton for her first event - a New York delegation reception. The cheering crowd was filled with many of Hillary's fellow New Yorkers such as Senator Chuck Schumer, Governor David Patterson and Congressman Charlie Rangel. Hillary gave a rousing speech on how exciting it is to be here in Denver campaigning for Senator Obama and bringing our party together.
