Jeff Jarvis Follows The YouTube Campaign 2008
By stevegarfield, 02/20/2007 - 11:08am

Jeff Jarvis is tracking the use of video in the 2008 presidential campaign on his new site PrezVid.

On a recent video post Jarvis gives advice to John McCain:

McCain’s videos may be ready for prime time, but not for YouTube. He doesn’t speak directly to those of us who are clicking; he speaks off-camera, as if this were an interview, or he speaks through music and polished production, as if this the video were intended for the giant screens at a nominating convention. He doesn’t yet understand that this is a conversation, one-on-one.

I'm looking forward to seeing more video analysis from Jarvis.

Solid.

Jarvis is great. And his analysis is spot-on.

I only wish that he would actually use YouTube as his distribution for videos more often.
