Fred Thompson “added ‘Convincing everyone my presidential run isn’t really Method-style research for a movie role’ to his Interests.” John McCain is “appealing to Ron Paul for fundraising tips.” Mitt Romney is “shredding some old speeches.” Sound like a Facebook news feed from Republican hell? Pretty close.

The folks at the left-of-center People For the American Way have produced a parody of Facebook called The Right-Wing Facebook that uses the cultural language of Facebook (poking, updating, group-joining) to skewer of the Republican candidates.
The site offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse at imagined status updates, profiles, groups joined and left, and writings on the wall from the candidates, making them look status-obsessed, superficial, and mean.
Now it’s time for the Democrats. Which conservative group will take them on?
