What's the Matter with THOMAS

BY Nancy Scola | Tuesday, September 14 2010

Sunlight Foundation counsel Daniel Schuman writes to make the case that folks should indeed be "doubting THOMAS" because the Library of Congress's 15-year-old database of legislative and congressional information "is the best you would expect" -- wait for it -- "for 1995." Daniel points us to a section on OpenCongress' wiki that has ideas for bringing THOMAS.gov into the year 2010, including empowering bulk access to THOMAS's data and, creating a users groups for the sharing of ideas on how to make THOMAS better.
