Pro and Anti-EFCA Forces Take the Battle to Google Ads

Battleground: Google ads. The micro-advertising spaces are becoming a major battleground for the fight over the Employee Free Choice Act, the union organizing bill currently the subject of some fierce fighting in Washington. Searches for "EFCA," "unions," and "card check" all turn up pro and anti arguments. The SEIU is running "Join the Campaign for Free Choice" spots while the Work Fairness Instituted has ads bemoaning the "Employee Forced Choice Act." And the workplace law firm Jackson Lewis (specialists in "preventive strategies") is also getting in on the action -- though they're hedging their bets. "Stay Union-Free," their ad reads, "EFCA or not!"
