How to Pitch (and Not Pitch) a Political Blogger

Recently we learned that over half of adult Americans get their political news online -- making bloggers increasingly important arbiters in the exchange of political information and ideas.

Entering this conversation, though, isn’t as easy as it looks. Following a backlash from bloggers fed up with bad pitches, PR professionals are learning to navigate this space for the benefit of their clients.

But you don’t have to be a PR pro to get the blogosphere talking about your candidate or your issue.

This Thursday, we’re excited to let you in on this conversation and hear best practices straight from the source. From 1-2pm EST on April 30th, two of today’s most prominent political bloggers, Ben Smith and Ana Marie Cox, will be discussing “How to Pitch (and Not Pitch) a Political Blogger.”

To join the call (and get the opportunity to pose your questions directly to Ben and Ana Marie), you’ll need to join the PdF Network. Once you’ve signed up, you’ll be able to RSVP for this and any of our other upcoming calls with such experts in the tech and politics space as Allison Fine, Eric Frenchman, Steve Grove and many more.

Oh, and if you’re coming to the PdF Conference in June, your PdF Network membership is included in your registration.

We look forward to speaking with you on Thursday!
