10Questions Update: Come On In, The Water's Nice
BY Daniel Teweles | Wednesday, August 18 2010
10Questions is a project of Personal Democracy Forum
As the momentum builds, and Nov. 2 draws closer, 10Questions has begun to fulfill its promise to fundamentally alter the culture of political debate in America, to move away from glorifying sound bites over substance, and to also expand the participatory side of political media. And to be honest, we're having fun engaging communities across the country.
Since the project began, we've already accumulated nearly as many questions this year as we had by the end of 2008 iteration of 10Questions; and we're still weeks away from what we expect to be the peak period for questions and voting in early September.
With people across the country starting to make use of 10Questions, this is the perfect time to vote and ask questions. But don't worry — no matter when a question is submitted, it always has a fair shot at being listed among the first questions for the race in question for visitors to 10Questions.com. (By default, questions are displayed based on our special algorithmic sauce.)

New Partners:
We are pleased to announced the addition of WNYC, The Arizona Republic, AZCentral.com, Arizona NBC 12 News, and UNC TV as our newest local and state-wide media partners. Be on the lookout for their individual launches in the coming days.

As we begin to reach out to the blogosphere, we're excited to welcome Think Progress, RH Reality Check, and Georgia Politics Unfiltered on board as partners. 10Questions was designed to give everyone a direct voice in the democratic process, and the use of our platform by issue blogs to engage their readerships is one we applaud.

In addition to the traditional and new media partners listed above, we've also teamed up with Visible Vote, Why Tuesday?, and Vote Again 2010

This latest batch of blog partners skews a bit to the left, so it's worth mentioning that we've reached out to just as many blogs on the political right and would welcome more partners — red, blue, or purple — that don't belong to a single-issue advocacy organization. If you read, write, or publish a blog and would like to partner with 10Questions, please don't hesitate to email us at contact@10questions.com.
